West Virginia LPNs must complete twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education every 2 years. LPNs must complete 3 hours in chemical dependence and substance use disorders and 2 hours in mental health conditions common to veterans and family members of veterans every 2 years. There is a one-time requirement for 2 hours of continuing education pertaining to end-of-life care.
