All Alabama registered nurses, (RNs) are required to complete twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education every two-year renewal cycle. Alabama RN License Renewal Requirements
All registered nurses licensed in Alabama must complete 24 hours of continuing education each license renewal period. All 24 hours of continuing education are elective, apart from a 4-hour 1-time requirement on the first renewal cycle, meaning you can choose the topics that are relevant to your nursing practice and interests to meet your continuing education requirements. All our courses are ANCC accredited and will count towards your 24-hour requirement.
