Rhode Island APRN License Renewal Requirements
Rhode Island APRNs are required to complete ten (10) hours of continuing education every 2 years. Two (2) of these hours must be on substance abuse. One (1) hour of continuing education on Alzheimer’s disease is required per career. APRNs with prescriptive authority must complete thirty (30) hours of continuing education in pharmacology every 6 years.
