Pennsylvania APRN License Renewal Requirements
Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including a Board-approved course on child abuse recognition and reporting. If you have prescriptive authority, sixteen (16) of the thirty (30) hours must be advanced pharmacology. Two (2) hours must be in pain management and identification of addiction. Licensed Practical nurses must complete a Board-approved course on child abuse recognition and reporting every 2 years.
