North Carolina LPN License Renewal Requirements
North Carolina LPNs have several ways to satisfy their continuing education requirements. Fifteen (15) hours of continuing education and 640 hours of active practice within the previous two years; thirty (30) hours of continuing education; fifteen (15) contact hours of continuing education and authoring/co-authoring a nurse-related article, paper, book, or book chapter; and several more ways.
