CE Requirements for North Carolina Nursing License Renewal
North Carolina RNs and LPNs have several ways to satisfy their continuing education requirements. Fifteen (15) hours of continuing education and 640 hours of active practice within previous two years; thirty (30) hours of continuing education; fifteen (15) contact hours of continuing education and authoring/co-authoring a nurse related article, paper, book, or book chapter; and several more ways.
