Nevada Nursing CEU Requirements
Nevada RNs and LPNs are required to complete thirty (30) contact hours of continuing education every two years. APRNs are required to complete forty-five (45) contact hours of continuing education, fifteen (15) of which should be directly related to the licensee’s specialty. CE Requirements for Nevada Nursing License Renewal
Nevada RNs and LPNs are required to complete thirty (30) contact hours of continuing education every two years. APRNs are required to complete forty-five (45) contact hours of continuing education, fifteen (15) of which should be directly related to the licensee’s specialty. RNs and LPNs must complete a one-time four-hour bioterrorism course and a 4-hour cultural competency course each renewal. Of the fifteen (15) additional hours the APRN must complete, a 2-hour course on suicide prevention must be completed every four (4) years and a 2-hour substance use and abuse course completed every renewal cycle, as well as maintain a portfolio pursuant to NAC 632.2563.
