Health clinicians need to know the treatment options for benign and malignant brain tumors, as well as the side effects the treatments may cause. The clinician, with the input of the patient, must be able to understand the potential benefits of treatment, weighed against the potential side effects. The purpose of this course is to provide health clinicians with knowledge of the current treatment options for brain tumors and to assist clinicians to offer optimal health care for a brain tumor patient.
