Course Description
The purpose of this nursing continuing education course is to provide an overview of Cholelithiasis – gallstone disease – a very common medical malady. There are over 700,000 cholecystectomies (removal of the gallbladder) performed in the United States each year,1 and it has been estimated that at any given time, at least 25 million people in the United States have gallstones.
